There is cinema in Verbier and there are often English-language films. Besides the live bands in several of the bar, for culture there is the Alpine Area Museum or the chapel in Hameau with its stained-glass windows and amazing organ.

Shops in Verbier are expensive. Ski shops sell a range of clothing and products, and there are designer clothes galore in the trendy boutiques to cater to the clientele with bottom accounts.
