Check out the Casbah and also the Coco Club, but especially the lounge bar at the Farinet Hotel. There are often concerts in the evening. The Casbah and the Farinet are favorite hangouts of James Blunt, but as a rule, there is no danger that he will get up and sing anything. He is usually busy trying to pick up girls, of which there are plenty in Verbier.

You can ask your hotel for a recommendation on rental equipment but most high street stores like InterSport/Swissrent a Sport are usually okay.
When the lifts close, the bars in Verbier start to fill up and they stay 
packed until late into the night. The resorts’ discos stay open very late and some have a young and raucous British crowd, the rest a stylish and wealthy clientele.
There is cinema in Verbier and there are often English-language films. Besides the live bands in several of the bar, for culture there is the Alpine Area Museum or the chapel in Hameau with its stained-glass windows and amazing organ.
Shops in Verbier are expensive. Ski shops sell a range of clothing and products, and there are designer clothes galore in the trendy boutiques to cater to the clientele with bottom accounts.
